Company

Emmebi Srl was established in November 1999 following the acquisition of the business branch of the company Emmegi snc, set up in 1984 by the Mazzurana family, namely Giovanni Mazzurana, his wife Leda Bavutti and their children Massimo and Barbara.

The aim was to create a new entrepreneurial concern, at the forefront in the field of mechanical processing of cast iron castings and more precisely: sandblasting, deburring, drilling, coating of iron castings and semi-finished products from foundries.

Over the last 10 years, Emmebi has made big investments in terms of research and development of new applications and production processes in order to create an innovative industrial complex in the field of mechanical processing. In particular, the installation of 3 automatic deburring islands each made up of anthropomorphic robots with the capacity to handle small and large castings (from 0.50 kg to 90 kg).

Over the years, the company has continued to grow; it currently operates on an area of about 8,000 square metres, with a production capacity of 110 tonnes per day and an annual turnover of over € 7,500,000.

The following projects, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, are nearing completion:

- Installation of an energy and compressed air monitoring system aimed at optimizing energy consumption.

- Realization of a sophisticated project in the field of Business Intelligence for visualization and study of production data, to optimize company processes and energy consumption.
